Bring your own bag lunch  
from home for Oneg! Visitors and guests who are unaware of the brown bag lunch – we will have cheese pizza available for them during oneg.

We will resume the oneg lunch after the service, except that the lunch will no longer be a potluck buffet, but will now, for the time being, instead be a brown bag picnic lunch, with each person and/or each family bringing their own lunch.
We will also resume all of the normal childcare and children’s classes during the morning service.
We have secured a new curriculum from Tree of Life Version of the Bible that follows each week’s Torah portion with curriculum mail outs to you, the parents to teach your children, on those weeks you cannot physically be in attendance.

Help Needed!
Dan and Terri Randolph are moving! We will need help moving and volunteers would be great. We’re looking at the closing being Friday, June 5, Shabbat on the June 5-6, and moving Sunday, Monday and Tues. June 14, 15, and 16.

We’ve got some graduating high school seniors, and some others graduating college, who won’t be able to walk the stage just yet, due to COVID-19. As a community, we’d like to send them graduation cards congratulating them.

We’re asking for the names, schools, and mailing addresses of graduating high school seniors, as well as graduating college students (any degree).

This Week on Shabbat

Shabbat Services will resume this Saturday at the Central Church building!

We are attempting to follow the Governor’s directives for worship services.

1. Social distancing will be emphasized. That being said – families will sit together, leaving at least 1 empty seats before arriving at the next person in the row. Any single persons, please sit with at least 1 empty chairs on each side of you. We will be removing every other row in the auditorium – again – for social distancing.

2. All children will be with their parents at all times. Infants, toddlers, young people – stay with the parents. There is no nursery, no child care, no Tot Shabbat, Jr. Shabbat, or Bar Bat Mitzvah classes.

3. Oneg does not lend itself to social distancing, so we will have NO ONEG.

4. No Motzi Kiddish as we are not preparing to have a meal together.

5. During the Torah walk, no one is to touch the Torah – please raise your Bible to the Torah if you like.

6. ANYONE with a compromised immune system is encouraged to stay at home and watch the Torah Service through the live streaming.

7. We all know the drill by now. Facemasks are encouraged, no hand shaking, maintain your distance when talking with others.

On this date, we will resume all of the normal childcare and children’s classes during the morning service.
There will be an RSVP to pre-register your children so we have an idea of how many to expect.
For a healthier environment, we will be adding an air purification set up in each classroom. We are redoubling our efforts with extra cleaning measures for health precautions.
We have secured a new curriculum from Tree of Life Version of the Bible that follows each week’s Torah portion with curriculum mail outs to you, the parents to teach your children, on those weeks you cannot physically be in attendance.

We will also be making the upstairs rooms available for seating so we can more easily practice social distancing during oneg
Dear brothers and sisters in The Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Due to the current events around the world, we would like to come together in prayer on a High Holiday that unites us all, Shavuot/Pentecost. The bible indicates that during this time The Heavens are open and the Lord’s desire is to show His greatness among those who pray, worship, and seek His Presence in their midst.
Therefore we are inviting you to a live 24 hour Zoom Praise and Prayer event as we ask The Lord for healing, both physical and spiritual, for our nation and for our world. We hope and pray that fellow Believers in Israel will participate in this event, as Israel will be a focus of our prayers. Much like the early church was told to come together on Pentecost (Shavuot) and wait on the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2), we are coming together on the same day and asking The Lord to fill us anew with His Spirit and give us wisdom, discernment, and guidance in our response to the current events plaguing our world. We believe that if we humble ourselves and pray, turn from our wicked ways, and seek His face, He will hear our prayers, and He will heal our land (2 Chron. 7:14).
Please join us as we seek the Lord from Sundown Friday, May 29th to sundown Saturday, May 30th. We are looking for 24 dedicated prayer warriors and leaders for this event. We would like to have continual prayer, praise, and bible reading for 24 hours. Each leader would take a 1 hour time slot to lead. Others on the call will be invited to share what the Lord is putting on their heart as well. We are not looking for teachings or prophetic words. This event is only for seeking God’s face through prayer, praise, and the reading of His Holy Word. This event will happen starting at 8pm central standard time on Friday night and end at 8pm central standard time on Saturday. As mentioned, we would really like those of you in the Land of Israel to join us. Israel is 8 hours ahead of us here in Texas, so the start time would be 4am there.
Please respond by immediately if you are interested in leading a 1 hour time slot. More specifics about the call including event ID and passcode will go out soon.
