Christian Shippee’s drash, “A friend of God,” address man’s relationship with God as our King/Judge, our master, our father, our husband, and finally as our friend as explained in the Scriptures, and what this means in our relationships with others.

This drash will be focused primarily on Romans 7, and understanding the difference between walking in the flesh and walking in the Spirit with respect to obeying God’s commands.
