Feast of Tabernacles

We are developing a little traction with some interest in some quarters for planning a family celebration of Tabernacles.
IF you “might” be interested in
  1. Attending a Feast of Tabernacles with EC members within a one or two hour drive of the metroplex
  2. IF you would like to help PLAN a Feast of Tabernacles celebration
  3. Feast of Tabernacles is a week long event AFTER the High Holy Days
  4. Come upstairs to room 211 on THIS Shabbat for a short meeting…NO OBLIGATION

Feast of Tabernacles is September 23-30 this year.

God is the fire in us: He is the energy, the fuel burning in us. The basis of our service is not spiritual training or learning, zeal, ability, and knowledge, neither is it the need for service; the unique basis of our service has to be the fire from the altar.

If we carry out the service based on anything else besides the fire from the altar, we may incur judgement upon our service. The Lord may allow us to serve Him in this age not having the proper basis, but

He will not let us go in the next age; things may go well today but the fire will come and will test everything.

We need to be before the Lord concerning our service so that He may shine on us thoroughly; our service has to have God as the source, with the heavenly vision, in the Body, according to the divine revelation, in our spirit in the gospel, with the proper humanity, and the basis of our service has to be the fire from the altar. ~ Anonymous godman.com

The source of our service must be God, and the basis of our work must be the fire from the altar. In serving God we need to have not only the proper source (which is God Himself) but also the proper basis, the basic principle of our work.

If we don’t have the proper basis, even though we may have the right source we may work for God by our zeal or knowledge.

According to Leviticus, the basis of our service has to be the fire from the altar of burnt offering; until the fire comes, there’s no service. We serve God because there’s a fire burning in us. The God who sends us for His service and who is the source of our service is the fire burning in us!

Heb. 12:29 For our God is also a consuming fire. Our God is a consuming fire (see Heb. 12:29; Deut. 4:24; 9:3). Fire consumes, and as it consumes, it purifies, energizes, brightens, and causes us to shine. Fires are fierce, severe, and to be feared; we should not play with fire.

Our God likens Himself to a consuming fire; fire is merciless: it consumes everything in its way. We should not think that we served the Lord for many years and so we’re fine; when fire comes, it is merciless, and anything that’s not compatible with God’s nature will be burnt away. ~ Anonymous

God consists of fire! His body is fire…That is why fire is so important.

“This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on My name and I will answer them”; “I will say,” “‘They are My people,” and they will say, “The LORD is Our God.” (Zechariah 13:9)The fire of God is a fire of love, purity and power. We need His fire, every day of our lives.

“To the Israelites the glory of the LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.” (Exodus 24:17)

If you receive this fire in your heart, the burning love of God, you will change and reach the world. This fire is stronger than death. This fire is more beautiful than life itself. This fire is more intense than anything that exists.

Ask God for His fire every day, because He will give it to you. Say YES, let him set you on fire!

Without the fire of God you live without true life, without passion. Without the fire of God you have religion, human wisdom derived from the Bible and insights that appear to be godly but which do not result in the power of God. It is empty. It sounds nice, but it doesn’t change lives. It doesn’t heal the sick. It doesn’t set the possessed free. It doesn’t help the suffering.

The fire of God burned intensely in Yeshua. The fire of God changed Jerusalem into a place of fire on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out. The fire of God lightens up the hearts of people worldwide and it changes them more than anything else. Ask God daily for his fire, and bring it with you on Shabbat.
