High Holy Day Schedule

September 29 Erev Rosh Hashanah  Sunday 7:00 pm service
                  30 Rosh Hashanah  Monday 10:30 am service
October      8 Erev Yom Kippur  7:00 pm service
                   9 Yom Kippur 10:30 am service; continuing for a special afternoon of additional programs as well, culminating in a communal break the fast at sundown, breaking the fast at twilight.
                 13 Erev Tabernacles  Cooper Lake for Campers set up day
                 19 Tabernacles Celebrated at Shul
                20 End of Feast of Tabernacles
                21 is the 8th day.
High Holy Days are a special time before the Lord. Please dress appropriately, no shorts, jeans, Tee shirts, flip flops please. Most men wear shirt and tie, nice collared Polo shirt; a sports or suit coat is welcome, ladies dresses or business casual pants and tops. AC can be cold bring a wrap to keep warm.

The national cuisine of Texas meets the dietary laws of the Bible in the Fifth Annual Dallas Kosher BBQ Championship on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Under the supervision of Dallas Kosher and the world-renowned Kansas City Barbeque Society, teams from around Texas and beyond will compete in a delectable, family-friendly event that is sure to draw a big crowd.

This is a great outreach to the Jewish community. Let’s form an EC team and participate. See Earl Smith
