Erev Rosh HaShanah is Sunday, September 9,
High Holy Days are a special time before the Lord.
Please dress appropriately!
No shorts, jeans, Tee shirts, flip flops please. Most men wear shirt and tie, nice collared Polo shirt; a sports or suit coat is welcome, ladies: dresses or business casual pants and tops. AC can be cold bring a wrap to keep warm.
7-9 p.m. ~ A traditional New Years nosh of apples & honey cakes to follow the service.
Needed: (From EVERYONE!*)
Sunday, September 9th:
Please bring sliced honey cakes in disposable dishes.
We need sliced apples.
To keep the sliced apples from turning brown, we recommend soaking them in 7-up or Ginger Ale. Please do not bring whole apples, there will be no one to slice them. Honey cakes are available for sale at the Tom Thumb, Coit & Campbell.

Rosh HaShanah is Monday morning, September 10 10:30-1 pm
~ We will have a full oneg lunch to follow.
Please bring food to share for Oneg.
Monday, September 10th:
Monday will be a festive day.
We will have a full oneg lunch for our congregation with additional apples and honey cakes. There will be many guests.
We urge EVERYONE to please bring a dish to share.
Bring it already prepared in a disposable container. We expect a lot of visitors so we ask that they be allowed to go through the line first. Please have a hearty breakfast that morning.
Parents please remember to keep your children and teens with you in the line and let the visitors and elderly go first.
Tashlich service – Will be at Twin Lakes in Richardson on Campbell just past Coit. Everyone who would like to participate should leave for that location by 2:30 pm after Oneg. Bring your own bread please!
*Erev Yom Kippur is Tues, Sept 18
Yom Kippur Day is Weds Sept 19
Sukkot Sept 29 during our normal Sabbath.
*Erev Services begin at 7 pm, day services 10:30 am
During the Praise and Worship
there will be rooms available in the office for Healing Prayer and other needs. There will be periodic slides inviting folks to come back for prayer as they feel the need. We will have 3 rooms available, See one of the ushers for directions any time during the Praise and Worship service prior to the Message.
