David Schiller is the founder and rabbi at Eitz Chaim Messianic Synagogue in Dallas / Richardson, TX, www.ecdallas.org. Eitz Chaim is a member of the MJAA / IAMCS, and Rabbi Schiller is a regular speaker at both the Regional and National MJAA Conferences. Previously, Rabbi Schiller served on the Judicial Board / Beit Din for the UMJC and was a UMJC Regional Director. Rabbi Schiller currently serves on the Board of Directors of Chosen People Ministries, Blessed Buy Israel Ministries, and Ahavat Ammi Ministries. In addition to being a Messianic Rabbi, Mr. Schiller is also a full-time practicing attorney with a large international law firm. He graduated from Cornell University, summa cum laude, in 1980, and Stanford Law School, magna cum laude, in 1983, having served as an Editor on the Stanford Law Review. Mr. Schiller grew up in a thoroughly Jewish home, with his maternal grandfather being an Orthodox Jewish Cantor from Russia, and his father’s family being Holocaust survivors from Germany. He is married to Elizabeth Schiller and has two grown daughters, Rachel and Naomi, both of whom have previously lived in Israel for a number of years.
Mark Huey is an elder of Eitz Chaim Messianic Jewish Congregation. He is the founder and director of Outreach Israel Ministries, an educational ministry, and currently serves as the Director of Partner Relations for the MJAA/Joseph Project. Mark is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in history, with graduate studies toward a master’s degree in aviation management completed at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After a successful career in the commercial real estate industry, Mark and his wife Margaret were called into full time ministry work. Over the past twenty years, they have organized, produced, and/or participated in conferences, seminars, and ministry related events. He is the author of a number of books that focus on encouraging others to embrace the Hebraic and Jewish roots of our faith. These include Torah commentaries: TorahScope, Volumes I, II, and III, TorahScope Haftarah Exhortations, TorahScope Apostolic Scriptures Reflections, and the devotionals, Counting the Omer and Sayings of the Fathers: A Messianic Perspective on the Pirkei Avot. Mark and Margaret currently reside in Dallas, Texas and have five children and three grandhildren.
